By default when you bought HP Proliant ML10 V2 does not include operating system on it, so you must install it by yourself. The lack of information provided from HP and the difficulty of getting a particular file to support operating system on this server make you confused. Just imagine, to get a SPP (HP Service Pack for Proliant) you must register much of number printed on server casing and box. To obtain this file software you must sign in using your ID and password, or create new account if you don't have it yet. Once you finish Sign in to obtain this file software you must fill a specific form on Contract and Warranty. There are four option to fill it. On this fill you must enter HP Service Agreement ID (SAID) and Support Account Reference (SAR) and the other number needed. 

But If you dont't want take any action to fill somethng on HP official site, I have found the great blog that will help us to get SPP (HP Service Pack for Proliant), you can visit this blog to download this file software without a complex action.

So, what is HP Service Pack for Proliant or SPP and why we need this file ? This is is a comprehensive systems software and firmware update solution, which is delivered as a single ISO image. You must have this file before installing Windows Server 2012 R2 on your HP Proliant ML10 V2.

Prerequisite to install Windows Server 2012 R2 on HP Proliant ML10 V2 server.

1. You must have a CD/DVD Drive installed on your HP Proliant ML10 V2. for some countries this device is not included on package. This used to run Windows Server 2012 R2 DVD.

Installing Windows Operating System.

To install windows operating system on HP Proliant ML10 V2 required the windows media DVD. And you must install device driver for the B120i and B320i controllers. Because this controller is not included with the off shelf Microsoft Windows operating system. On this guide we will show you how to install device driver.

Device Driver Installation.

With Virtual Install Disk (VID) enabled. The VID is a special partition that contains critical drivers. when VID at your HP Proliant ML10 V2 is enabled, the driver is automatically added during installation. windows will automatically recognized this partition and loads the driver for the Dynamic Smart Array Controller to expose the disk volume for installation. To enabled VID you must ;

• Enter system setup.
• Select Advanced Options
• Select Advanced System ROM Options
• Select Virtual Install Disk
• then select Enable

With VID Disabled. If VID at your HP Proliant ML10 V2 is disabled, you must install the driver manually from a USB driver during the windows operating system installation.

Guide to Install Windows Server 2012.

1. Use this Guide if your VID is disabled
2. Obtain device driver using HP Service Pack for Proliant or SPP
• Extract SPP using 7Zip
• Put extracted file and folder into USB flash disk.
• This driver file name is cp024079.exe


• Extract this exe file again using 7zip.
• You can find this file on HP Service Pack for ProLiant version 2015.06.0 Contents

3. Setting Boot order on HP Proliant ML10 V2 to boot from DVD drive.
4. Now, insert windows Server 2012 DVD media into drive.
5. HP Proliant ML10 V2 now boot from DVD drive.

   

   install Windows Server 2012 R2 HP Proliant ML10 V2 server.

6. Then you will see windows setup on your screen.

7. Click next, then click Install now

8. Then select the operating system you want to install. and click next

9. Then click on I Accept the license terms. and click next

   

   install Windows Server 2012 R2 HP Proliant ML10 V2 server.

10. Then select. Custom : Install windows Only (advanced)

11. Now, click on Load driver.

12. Then select driver to install, and click Browse

13. Now browse your device driver (cp024079.exe) on USB flash disk. and select HP dynamic Smart Array B120i SATA RAID controller . Then click Next

14. And wait the driver installation process. Once finish click Next
15. When you see where do you want to install windows ? appears on screen, confirm that the correct drive or logical volume is available. Then click Next

16. Now, setup will install windows Server 2012 on your HP Proliant ML10 V2.

17. Setup will ask you to reboot your server, and ready to install on the next step. just wait this process untill finish.
